About Talk

How many people will have to courage to come on stage and declare: “I am a capitalist. I admire Capitalism”? It seems easy to judge such people as greedy or selfish – an oppressor of the poor, a big fish devouring those smaller and less fortunate. Yet are we certain this is an accurate vision of Captalism? Though Capitalism once made Banyong Pongpanich lose his ground, his bold faith in the system remains; he believes it can lead to a better quality of life, and history has proved that Captalism is capable of raising countries from impoverished conditions. Banyong seeks to identify factors which twisted ‘ideal Capitalism’ to ‘vicious Capitalism’, and how the system could lead to a better, more equal society. It is up to all of us to decide how our society will continue towards its future.
