My childhood dream was to get on an airplane. It was one point that led her to receive a scholarship to a world-class university. Today, it is Dr. Nissara's dream. She awakened us to the ongoing situation in the country. And look to the future where there is still hope. And waiting for us to rise up and be a part of building the dream of Thailand together.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxBangkok, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxBangkok event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.
